It's Monterey Car Week again, and Bugatti is off to a flying start with the unveiling of the limited edition Centodieci. Bugatti has created the Centodieci to pay homage to the legendary Bugatti EB110 supercar from the 1990s. In Italian, Centodieci means 110, also this year its 110 years since Ettore Bugatti founded the Bugatti automotive company.

The EB110 was revealed to the public in 1991 to celebrate the company founder Ettore Bugatti's 110th birthday. Only 139 examples were produced at the then Italian factory from 1991 to 1995 under the vision and direction of Italian entrepreneur Romano Artioli. Romano bought the Bugatti trademark in 1987, but in 1995, the company was bankrupt and was subsequently sold to the current owners the Volkswagen Group in 1998.

The Centodieci is in some ways a reinterpretation of the EB110 and has several styling cues like the flat horseshoe-shaped radiator as well as the deep-seated front spoiler and the three-section air intakes look. However, another striking feature on the Centodieci is the five-round air inserts for the air intakes.

Just like the Veyron and the Chiron, the Centodieci also comes with the iconic 8.0-litre W16 engine. However, the Centodieci produces 1,176 kW/1,600 hp at 7,000 rpm. Also, the Centodieci can do 0 to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, to 200 km/h in 6.1 seconds, and 300 km/h in 13.1 seconds. But the big question is whats its top speed???. The Centrodieci has an electronically limited top speed of 380 km/h or 236 mph, so its top speed is less than the Veyron and the Chiron. The slower top speed isn't surprising with that huge rear wing.

Bugatti will only be making ten Centodieci's, and all ten are sold with a price tag starting around 8 million Euros (AUD 13,000,000) plus taxes.
