It's now less than a week until we get to feast our eyes on the all-new Brabham BT62. Yesterday two significant things were revealed by Brabham Automotive before the unveiling next Wednesday.

Once again a new image was dropped showing what the Brabham badge will look like on the BT62. The photo also shows what looks like a signature colour scheme of Green and Gold.

Yesterday's press release also noticed the BT62 would cost around 1.8 million Australian dollars, that's before local taxes, and before options. Currently, we don't know if there will be any BT62's coming to Australia.

Brabham Automotive have advised that people have already placed deposits, they are also encouraging potential buyers to register via their website at www.brabhamautomotive.com

Personally, I can't wait to see this car next Wednesday. I was one of the original contributors to the Project Brabham Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign back in 2014. I'm chuffed that David Brabham has achieved his vision, to bring the Brabham name back and create a car like the BT62 that will give cars like the McLaren Senna a run for its money.

David Brabham is a multiple Le Mans winner and the Managing Director of Brabham Automotive. In yesterday’s press release David said:

“Having driven, raced and won in a host of world-class cars during my 35-year racing career, I knew exactly what I wanted from the BT62. A car like this should inspire, challenge and reward its driver in equal measures, and I’m delighted with what we have achieved.”

So, bring on next Wednesday and good luck to David and the team with the unveiling.

Captured during high-speed dynamic testing, the distinctive sound of the new Brabham BT62 showcases a car that has been built to set blistering lap-times and reward the limited few who will rise to its challenge. Brabham BT62 will be unveiled on Wednesday 2 May 2018.
